Project Learning Tree ‘Event’
The Minnesota Forest Resources Partnership is sponsoring a rewrite of eight new Project Learning Tree lessons that will focus on native American culture. The lessons will be posted online on mndnr.gov/plt over the summer.
As we look ahead as well as at ‘today,’ and find our lives and routines upset, MFRP Chair Craig Halla reminds us these are ‘unprecedented times.” “We must challenge ourselves to be positive,” he suggested. We need to be more efficient at work, respect space, and remember that adversity does build character. At times like this we can take time to observe the simple.”
The MFRP encourages you to observe the simple during these weeks walking into Spring. Note the return of the Canada geese and red-winged blackbirds, the ‘ice out’ on area lakes and rivers, budding aspen, and the earth that appears on south-facing slopes.
Be safe and healthy.
